Release Trapped Emotions in Real-Time: Your Guide to EFT Tapping
Have you ever noticed how certain situations trigger the same emotional response no matter how much you've worked on it? How past hurts resurface at the most inconvenient moments?
This happens because emotions from both past and present can get trapped in your nervous system — creating patterns that feel impossible to break. EFT tapping is one of the most effective tools I know for pulling those emotions out by the root and deactivating triggers in real time.
I use tapping regularly — for myself, with my kids, and with my clients — because it works. It's like having an emotional reset button you can access anywhere, anytime.
The Rapid Manifestation Method
This is my favorite approach to tapping — and it's the foundation of my course Root to Rise. Here's how to use it:
Before you begin Drink a glass of water. Take a slow deep breath and let your body settle.
Step One — Identify and rate Choose what you want to work on. A feeling, a situation, a pattern that keeps showing up. Rate its intensity on a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is the most intense. Write it down so you can track your progress.
Step Two — Tap the points Tap each point 7 to 10 times while saying what you're feeling out loud. Work through them in order:
The Tapping Points (in order):
Top of Head
Eyebrow (inner corner)
Side of Eye
Under Eye
Under Nose
Chin (in the indent)
Collarbone (just below the bone)
Under Arm (about 4 inches down from armpit)
Step Three — Let it out Say everything you're thinking and feeling out loud. Don't filter. Don't edit. Get it all out even if it feels uncomfortable or messy. What you say doesn't have to be true — it just needs to reflect what feels true in your body right now. Holding back will slow your results.
What to expect
Give it a few days after a session. You may feel lighter, more emotional, grumpy, or some mix of all of it. That's the process working. Trust it.
Use this as often as you need to, on anything.
